The Holzmarkt Quarter, once an industrial area, is now a vibrant district many old industrial and storage structures have been transformed to support modern communities and live-work arrangements. Unique to Berlin, this space allows for both residential and office use, which is evident in the original design. The emphasis was on maintaining a sense of expansive openness, so all internal partition walls are free-standing, preserving the typical late 19th-century ceiling architecture, and the layout can be adapted as needed.
